It is called “The Great American Off-Road Race” and it has been around since 1968.
The Mint 400 features a grueling 400 mile course through the deserts of Southern Nevada with everything from Dune Buggies to off-road vehicles and motorcycles. The Ivanpah Dry Lake Bed and Primm Valley are where most of the events are held. Racing is taking place all week through Sunday.
